Access the Web App

Visit octopilotai.app in any modern browser. Sign in with Google or Apple, and you're ready to start your first project. No download required.

Download the Mac App

For a native macOS experience, download Octopilot AI from the Mac App Store. Launch it from Applications and use the dedicated Mac experience built for focused, desktop-first drafting.

Start Your First Project

Define your topic and objective, let Octopilot AI build a structured outline, expand it into full prose, then refine and export. The five-stage workflow — Prompt, Structure, Expand, Refine, Finalize — guides you from raw input to polished output.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Octopilot AI available on Windows or mobile?

Octopilot AI is currently optimized for desktop workflows through the web app and the native Mac app. A refined mobile experience is actively in development, with layouts being tuned for the same structured, high-control workflow users expect on larger screens.

Does my work sync between web and Mac?

Cross-platform account continuity is on the roadmap, but it is not fully available yet. Today, Octopilot is focused on making each platform feel deliberate and reliable first, with broader account interoperability planned as the ecosystem expands.

Is AI-generated content original?

Octopilot AI generates original drafts based on your input and direction. You maintain full control and responsibility over the final output. Always review and refine before publishing or submitting.

Troubleshooting

The web app isn't loading

Try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito/private window. Ensure you're on a stable internet connection. Octopilot AI works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.

The Mac app won't launch

Restart your Mac and try again. Ensure your macOS version meets the minimum requirements listed on the App Store. If the issue persists, reinstall from the Mac App Store.

Features aren't responding

Some features require a stable internet connection. Check your network, refresh the page (web) or restart the app (Mac). If the problem continues, contact support.
